My Story

2002-2020
Early Designs
I spent my childhood writing stories and drawing page and cover art; my 5th grade teacher even designated a classroom bin for our books after I started the trend of gifting homemade books to the class.
In high school, I took art courses and even designed and helped to paint an entire 4 foot mural that is currently on the wall of the school's writing center. For my 16th birthday, my friends gifted me an art easel. It was a truly meaningful gift to a young, aspiring artist.
My dad, the engineer, inspired me to design some pretty wild inventions, like a wall-sized hot and cold vending machine, and a circular clay "fairy house". He always encouraged me to be an inventor.

University
My four years at the University of Southern California shaped me into the artist I am today. USC's location, in the heart of South Central LA, was a prime place to meet inspiring artists and designers; I attended poetry bars, supported friends with art pieces in galleries and venues, and even helped with the clothing designs and modeling of the USC FIA fashion shows.
In college, I also split my time between writing and engineering. I wrote two poetry books and designed the cover and page art for both. Meanwhile, my team and I were designing our app, EkoHome, from research to MVP.

Current story
Post-college, I'm working as a freelance designer, author, tutor, and technology consultant in the Bay Area of California. I'm helping a friend design perfume bottles and a website for his fragrance brand. My third poetry book is on the way, and then I'll be releasing a children's book!
